Many plan to spend the cold winter that awaits residents of European countries this year in Alanya. The shortage of natural gas makes Europeans worry about how and where to spend the coming cold winter. According to Klaus Miller, head of the German Federal Energy Agency, the state of gas supplies from Russia via the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline is uncertain. Therefore, the expert urges his citizens to save gas. French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire also said that his country should be prepared for the possibility of a complete cessation of natural gas supplies from Russia. Alanya tourism officials believe that this situation may increase demand for Alanya from Europeans during the winter months. Due to inflation in the summer of 2022, hotels in Turkey were unable to generate sufficient income despite full occupancy. The opportunity to open hotels for the winter at reasonable prices will help hoteliers earn extra money.
